Women Arrested During Iran Protest
Women arrested during Iran protest shows how misogynist this regime is. Women are brave enough to declare their freedoms in protests but are cracked down. The Islamic dictator’s prime act against human rights is carried out on women. They are believed to be the source of change in Iran towards democracy.
A devastated man at the protest in Daneshjoo Park takes a video. He weeps and curses the government for taking the women. The security forces said we’ve taken her to protect you.
There’s been a week of growing protests throughout different cities. Tehran is included and a crowd of people at Daneshjoo Park wanted to join. Youths gathered on 3 August as well as women to express their true feelings regarding freedoms.
Women’s Committee of NCRI has monitored the scenes closely. This video on their twitter shows a couple of young girls calling out their names. This was their last chance to give their identity on the internet. They fear that nobody knows they’ve been taken away by security forces. Many families still search for their missing children who have been arrested at protests.
Urgent: A group of youth sent an urgent video from inside state security forces car upon arrest. They tell their names one by one.

Another protesting city is Karaj with many arrested. This city is also known for its political prisoners held at Rajai Shahr Prison. One reliable source informed six prisoners executed there last month. They now call Rajai-Shahr Prison as Gohardasht Prison. Gohardash is a neighborhood of Karaj in the Alborz Province close to Tehran.
