Isfahan teachers, Kerman depositors and Bushehr farmers protested the government’s economic policies and chanted political slogans against the regime.
Teachers, some retired, gathered today outside the Education Department building in Isfahan. The predominantly women demonstrators held banners in their hand protesting low wages, and not receiving free medical care.
The Isfahan teachers’ chanted political slogans and demanded the release of detained teachers.
“Prison, corruption, poverty and discrimination was not what our revolution was for”, the Isfahan teachers chanted, indicating their disenchantment with the regime.
Creditors in Kerman who have lost their money to the Revolutionary Guards affiliated Caspian Credit Institution also held a protest gathering today demanding their money.
The creditors who had gathered outside the Caspian building also chanted political slogans.
“Iranians rise up and take out the root of tyranny and plundering,” they chanted calling on other Iranians to rise up against the regime.
They also held placards which read, “the plundered people are awake, and despise tyranny.”
Farmers in the Shabankar District in the southern province of Bushehr gathered outside the governor’s office in protest to the decrease of their water rations from the Reies Ali Delvari Dam.
The farmers laid a long tablecloth on the ground and sat around it to show that they had no food to eat.
The Shabankar farmers held placards which read “mismanagement of water is the reason behind the destruction of Shabankar farms.”
