Saipa Diesel trucks not granted to buyers after 2 years
Some truck buyers in Tehran have put up tents outside the Saipa Diesel Company in protest as their trucks have not been handed over by this truck factory after two years.
Security Forces have barged one of the tents and packed it up after beating the protester. The clients have made full payment of the trucks they should now own but nothing has been given to them by the state company.
Saipa Diesel is an Iranian-based manufacturer of trucks and trailers and it also engages in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and export of heavy duty commercial vehicles. It is a provider to Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Yemen, Ethiopia, Sudan, Italy, and Angola. The company is situated in Karaj, the capital of Alborz Province, in Tehran’s suburb.
