Protests against forced veil increase every day in Iran
Scenes show a woman taking off her headscarf in public & protesting Iranian regime‘s compulsory hijab laws. The crowd seems to be supporting her and chanting “Death to Khamenei,” referring to the regime’s leadership.
Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called the chador the ”the flag of the revolution,” and early in the revolution of 1979 encouraged all women to wear it. Eventually, all women were forced to wear garments that cover their heads and hide the shape of their bodies.
Many Iranian women disagree with the veil, and protests against forced hijab increase every day.
