Bazaar closes in Tehran & Isfahan
In Tehran and Isfahan, according to a prior announcement, a high number of store centers have been shut down forming a new set of strikes to cripple Iran.
In the town of Ekbatan, a five kilometers drive from the capital, there is a 90 percent close of the guilds.
Videos that have been shared since this morning fully show the effect as nobody is seen in the big hallways.
Iranian bazaars hold a central role in the economic and political history. “Bazaari” is a term applied to Iran’s commercial class located in historical urban centers. Bazaaris have often allied with other social groups in anti-government protests.
